Vacuum packing non-food products is simple. Choose the right bag for your product, select the correct program and initiate the vacuuming process. For products with sharp edges, soft air creates the ideal conditions to prevent damage to the bag. If you are using an aluminium bag, the bi-active seal ensures that the bag is sealed on both sides.

How do I vacuum pack sharp objects?

To prevent sharp objects from tearing through the vacuum bag, it is best to use the soft air function. This is available on all Henkelman vacuum packing machines except the Jumbo.  

How do I vacuum pack a product with trapped air?

For non-food products it is not necessary to set a very deep final vacuum. If your product contains a lot of trapped air, such as cardboard, clothing or filters, we advise you to choose a lower vacuum setting.
